Welcome to your Chief 360-powered website. This guide will walk you through managing and editing your website content using WordPress, Elementor Pro, ElementsKit Pro, WPForms, and the Chiefbackstage.

🔐 STEP 1: Logging In

• Go to: www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin

• Enter your username and password.

• Click Log In.

🧭 STEP 2: Navigating the WordPress Dashboard

Once logged in, you’ll see the admin dashboard. Key areas include:

• Pages – Edit static content pages.

• Posts – Used in Chief 360 Plugin (see below).

• Media – Upload/manage files.

• Menus – Edit site navigation.

• Elementor – Drag-and-drop page builder.

• ElementsKit – Advanced layout tools.

• WPForms – Create/manage contact forms.

• Chief 360 Plugin – Manage Fire/EMS-specific content.

• Chief 360 API Plugin – For legacy content workflows via Chiefbackstage.

✏️ PAGE CONTENT: Editing with Elementor

1. Go to Pages > All Pages.

2. Click Edit with Elementor on the desired page.

3. Use the drag-and-drop builder to update text, images, buttons, and more.

4. Click Update when finished.

💡 Use ElementsKit widgets (like sliders, icon boxes, tabs, and headers) for advanced layouts.

📄 FORMS: Creating or Editing with WPForms

WPForms Pro powers your contact and inquiry forms.

To edit or create a form:

1. Go to WPForms > All Forms.

2. Click on the form name or “Add New”.

3. Use the drag-and-drop form builder to add:

   • Name, Email, Phone fields

   • Dropdowns, Checkboxes, File Uploads

4. Click Save.

5. To place on a page:

   • Use the WPForms widget in Elementor

   • Or paste the shortcode into a content area

To view entries:

• Go to WPForms > Entries

This plugin is embedded into WordPress and is the best method for managing dynamic content like:

How it works:

• Go to Posts > [Content Type] (e.g., Apparatus, News, Leadership).

• Add/edit posts in that section.

• When published, content automatically appears on the correct page (based on your site’s design).

• Great for agencies using WordPress as their primary content editor.

✅ Best for: Full WordPress workflow and real-time content changes.

🌐 Chief 360 API Plugin (Backstage Integration)

Used for legacy customers who still prefer to update content via chiefbackstage.com.

Key Features:

• Keep updating News, Apparatus, Personnel, Call Stats, Staffing through the Backstage Admin.

• All content updates made there sync automatically to your WordPress website via API.

• Pages and Forms, however, must now be edited directly within WordPress (using Elementor and WPForms).

✅ Best for: Customers already using Chief Backstage, who want to maintain their existing workflows without fully transitioning to WordPress.

✅ Best Practices

• Only one editor should work on a page at a time.

• Always click Update to save changes.

• Resize images before upload for best performance (under 1MB ideal).

• Use Chief 360 Plugin content types for structured updates.

• Use WPForms for easy-to-manage contact or registration forms.
